People who knew Martha Risley Reiners knew her as a caring, involved, and extremely generous woman. Recalls her friend Alan Bubalo, "Martha Reiners always had a big heart and believed that people, whether she personally knew them or not, were important. When Reiners needed help to create permanent support for the charities she cared about, she turned to the Daviess County Community Foundation and eventually established five endowed funds. Honoring a Husband, Father and Son: David Lynch
For David Lynch, August 1, 2000, started off like any other. He left home after exchanging a kiss and an I-love-you with his family, but the day took a tragic turn. An accident took David's life that day, leaving his wife, Cathy, and their sons, Keith and Kelly, with a tremendous emptiness in their lives. "We are thankful that David's day started with love and affection from his family," said Cathy.
